In an emergency, the first useful detail is your location. Save the building name, street address or a map pin before you need it.
State your location first
Use 112 for police and 119 for fire or ambulance help. If Korean is difficult, say “English please” or “Interpreter please” after the call connects.
Ask for English or an interpreter
Prepare four items: location, what happened, number of people needing help, and a callback number. Follow the operator’s instructions and do not delay a life-threatening call to complete the list.
